National Convention 2005
The 2005 National Mu Alpha Theta convention was held in the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawai'i from August 1-6, 2005. Louisiana was represented by 32 students and sponsors from 8 schools across the state.
Congratulations to Stephen Repar of Lafayette High, our new region II representative and national student secretary. Also congratulations to Ms. Barbara Stott of Brother Martin High, winner of the national Huneke distinguished sponsor award, and to Nabil Thalji of Baton Rouge High and Peter Nguyen of Brother Martin, two of the four finalists for the Kalin Award for distinguished graduating seniors attending convention.
